Annual Winter Retreat: 12-26 to 1-1-2019: space only left for commuters now

December 26th—January 1st

Date details +
  • $420
Room: East

This retreat is open to anyone who would like to take some time away from their everyday habits and surroundings.  We will provide a daily schedule of meditation practice and meals but you decide how much of the schedule you wish to participate in.

Sometimes we need to step back in order to move forward. For thousands of years the practice of retreat has been valued across wisdom traditions as a time to slow down, take inner care, and reawaken our deepest knowing. Join us for a spacious retreat that allows time to walk the land, visit Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest, or to follow the spontaneous callings of your spirit.

Our center offers the stillness and gentle support that allows you to unwind, unplug, relax, and reconnect to what is of true value in your life.  Meditation instruction and advice (or just listening)is available throughout the retreat.

Cost: $50 per day for commuters , $70 per day with overnights, or $420 for whole week: these prices include simple delicious vegetarian meals and snacks and housing (except of course the commuter rate of $50). You are welcome to bring along your own food as you wish and as you may need more animal protein than we will be offering at this particular retreat.  Your length of stay is up to you; stay for one day, a day and night or ???  The program will start on the 26th-you may arrive anytime after 2pm and will end at 2pm on the 1st.

If you have questions please email [email protected] or call (920)449-4352.  If you have no questions and know you will be coming please just register on-line and I will reach out to you to see what your arrival and departure plans are.  Payments can be made by using our "Donate" button; the "Register Here" option will allow you to save a spot but is not set up to take differing amounts of payment-so that's the reason to use the "Donate" option.  We can accept credit/debit cards on-line, checks through the mail or in person or cash when you arrive.
